Powers of Attorney
Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Advance Decisions
At Calvert Smith & Sutcliffe we are qualified to help you plan for your retirement years. Whether you have already made an Enduring Power of Attorney or would like to grant a Lasting Power of Attorney – we can help.
Powers of Attorney allow you to choose someone you trust to assist with your financial and welfare matters in circumstances where you have unfortunately lost your capacity to do so or, simply, do not want to.
If you lose your capacity and do not have such a document in place, the Court of Protection will appoint someone for you – a longer and more complicated process and one to be avoided if possible.
